Hey there I'm Ryan!

I've been on the Undress team since 2011 with an ever evolving role. I currently act as the Art Director for the company overseeing the aesthetic direction of Undress for all things creative including venue/ set design, photo shoots and graphic content. I have recently completed my Masters of Architecture and I absolutely love all things design.

Sustainability is extremely important to me. The architectural and construction industries are years ahead of the fashion industry when it comes to sustainable practice and it's my goal to bring my knowledge, ideas and inspiration to the industry in an effort to reform practices in fashion from garment design to event layouts and beyond. Sustainability is intrinsic to my design practices and this month I'm working on something really exciting for the October shows. With our theme for 2015 being "Textile & Climate" I aim to reveal the direct relationship between the fashion industry and climate change. The shows this year will feature a large installation floating above the runway.... That's all I'll give away for now but rest assured it's going to be epic!

Venue selection is also the hot topic for this month with several of the team inspecting new and interesting spaces in each city. The selection of a venue is more than just making a booking. At undress we aim to showcase our designers in the most unique of spaces. Repurposing old or unexpected spaces is one of the ways we can create a unique experience for our guests. Our venues must also meet a certain level of sustainable practices including waste, power, water usage etc. Theres so much going on right now and we can't wait to reveal our venue locations soon.
